Interfering solitary species
Gefahr durch eine solitäre Art
back to Seibt
The solitarily living Stegodyphus africanus and S. sabulosus we found in the field also as parasites in colonies of S. dumicola. Neotenic interspecific tolerance leaves S. dumicola defenseless against hostile congeneric species.
